Brief introduction
The surge protector is a lightning protection measure adopted by
Zhejiang toer Electric Co., Ltd. for the electrical system. It is
an electronic device for all kinds of electronic equipment,
instruments and communication lines. When a sharp peak current or
voltage is produced in an electrical circuit or a communication
line because of a sudden external disturbance, the surge protector
can guide the shunt in a very short time to avoid damage to the
other equipment in the circuit.

Structure and Principle
SPD is a port, shocking protection, indoor-mounted installation, voltage-limited.
SPD hold disconnector inside, when SPD breakdown failure by over heating, the disconnector can remove from the power grid automatically, and show indication signal. When SPD is working properly, visible window display green, it display red when it breakdown and disconnect.
1P+N,2P+N,3P+N SPD consist of 1P,2P,3P SPD+NPE zero ground protection module, apply to TN-S, TN-C-S and other power supply system.
Working principle of product
During the operation of the equipment, the lightning arrester will
play a protective role once the abnormal voltage occurs. When the
protected device is running under normal working voltage, the
arrester will not work, and it will be regarded as a circuit for
the ground. Once the high voltage is present and the insulation of
the protected equipment is endangered, the lightning arrester acts
immediately and leads the high voltage impact current to the earth,
thus limiting the amplitude of the voltage and protecting the
insulation of the electrical equipment. When the overvoltage is
gone, the arrester is restored to its original state quickly, so
that the system can supply electricity normally. The main function
of the arrester is to reduce the voltage value of the protected
equipment by the action of parallel discharge gap or nonlinear
resistance, so as to protect the power equipment.
Use of attention
1. standard RJ45 interface can be conveniently connected to the
front end of the protected equipment. The grounding path should be
as short as possible, and the length should not exceed 1.5 meters.
2. Connect the grounding wire of the lightning protector to the
ground wire of the lightning protection system.
3. it should match the working voltage of the protected equipment.
